Cincinnati Park

Up for a family adventure? Pack the kids in the Mazda and head to one of these parks in the Greater Cincinnati area! This area is packed with unique and genuinely fantastic parks that are just waiting to be explored by you and your little ones. Take these last few weeks of summer and put them to good use with a nice outdoor day trip!

  • Cincinnati Nature Center at Rowe Woods: This is perfect for a day where you want to enjoy a beautiful walk in the woods and a creative place for those little hands to play. When you arrive here, take a walk around some ponds, search for turtles, explore nature, and build things with actual logs!

  • George Rogers Clark Park: This one is in Covington, Ky. at the corner of Riverside Drive and Garrard Street. This tiny patch of grass in an urban area has big potential and appeal. This is a great place for a picnic with a beautiful view of the river.

  • Goebel Park: Another Covington, Ky. park that is a hit with the kids is Goebel Park. This location is full of fantasy-themed jungle gyms and toys. You can also watch a mechanical puppet show production in the Carroll Chimes Clock Tower.

  • Highfield Discovery Garden at Glenwood Gardens: Talk about fantasy, this playground is just plain magical. Complete with a giant tree-house, fairy garden, and goldfish ponds, this place is one-of-a-kind.

  • Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum: For a more artsy trip, check out this park. Sculptures of all types are spread throughout the hills and valleys of this land. This is a great way to take in some culture while getting a workout.
